Marina’s Metabolic Age Was 61… now it’s 35!
“Before joining Million Dollar Fitness (MDF) I hadn’t done any form of regular exercise for many years and felt very unfit. My weight was gradually increasing year by year, I was stuck in an unhealthy rut, both physically and mentally, and wasn’t feeling too good about myself.“
P.S. your metabolic age will give you an idea of what kind of physical health you are in using your base metabolic rate, or BMR. If your metabolic age is lower than your actual age, it means your body is in good health. However, if your metabolic age is higher than your actual age, it may mean you are having health problems or may need to change your eating and exercising habits.
“I read about MDF online, decided this could be just what I needed and got in touch with Dee.”
I had tried different forms of exercise through the years but nothing stuck for very long.
The gyms I had tried previously bored me and I hated their impersonal atmosphere.
“During my first weeks at MDF my body ached from head to toe but I knew ‘no pain, no gain’. Dee’s classes allow you to work at your own pace but continually pushing yourself a little further every time – like she always says ‘you are in competition with no-one but yourself’. Dee stressed that I needed to be doing at least 4 classes per week and over time I got more familiar with the exercises and felt my fitness levels improve. I was never much of a sporty person and often avoided anything to do with exercise, so it was a shock to me and anyone that knows me that I was now a regular at the gym! Not being much of an early morning person I attend the evening classes which I can go to straight after work.”
“Dee was always on hand to provide the nutritional advice on what I should be eating. I didn’t follow any strict diet regime but my eating habits changed to include a lot more fresh, non-processed foods and less of the bad stuff. Every few weeks I kept a food diary which Dee reviewed and provided the necessary advice to ensure I stayed on the right track. But this didn’t mean I couldn’t enjoy the odd treat at the weekends.”
“Since joining MDF a year ago, I have lost pounds on the scales but I have gained so much more in that exercising and healthy eating, not only improves your physical health, it also does wonders for your mental health. I feel I’m now a much more positive and stronger person than I was a year ago.
Dee’s Mindset and Motiviation Workshop which I attended in September 2016 helped me focus on how I could change my outlook and work toward my goals. Her emails were also a source of daily inspiration, as are her weekly meditation classes which focus on a different theme each week.
Dee provides so much more than just membership to a gym, she really does focus on the person and will go over and above what is expected to help you in whatever way she can.”
“Since joining I have completed physical challenges I never before would have thought possible including Hard as Oak, a Couch to 5k programme and climbed Cuilcagh.
When I first started Dee told me my metabolic age was 61 which really shocked me. I’m glad to say that it is now a much more respectable 35. I have also made a significant reduction in my overall body fat, lost inches and toned up.
On joining MDF I didn’t know any of the other members but the girls are so welcoming that it didn’t take long to make friends. Everyone supports each other and no-one is there to judge.”
“If any of my story feels familiar to anyone, then I would encourage them to take the first step and contact Dee. The changes you want to make might not happen overnight, but if you are prepared to put in the effort and stick with the programme then they will happen.
The best decision I made in 2016 was to join MDF.
Thank you Dee!!”
