Signature Steak Salad

Serves : 4


  • 450g steak strips
  • 1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 225g baby spinach
  • ½ cup roasted peppers
  • ¼ sliced avocado
  • Balsamic Dressing


Using a cast iron skillet, heat on medium-high to high and add olive oil. When oil begins to simmer, place steak in skillet and do not move for 5 minutes. Turn it once and cook for another 3 minutes to medium-rare (or more or less depending on preference). Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest, loosely covered with foil, for 5 minutes.

Arrange spinach on a platter. Add steak to the spinach, then toss remaining ingredients on top.
