How Jane Lost 8 Stone

Hi, I’m Caroline. I joined Million Dollar just over a year ago. Before joining Million Dollar, I had been to a slimming club and a few get-fit clubs, but could never lose all the weight that had crept on over the years.

“I would always joke about my weight and how I was loving the body I was in, secretly hating how big I had become. I stopped looking for nice clothes, something I had always loved. I lived in baggy tops and leggings.”

“I had friends who were members of Million Dollar but I always believed I didn’t have what it took to join until a friend suggested we give it a go for a wedding we had coming up.”

I was really nervous about my first meeting with Dee, not knowing what to expect. She totally put me at ease and reassured me that this was do-able. Dee has been there every step of the way, always asking “how can I help? Is there anything you need?”

“I have conquered Mount Errigal and nailed Hard as Oak, both of which I loved doing.”

“Million Dollar has now become part of my everyday routine. I have two teenagers at home and the timetable makes going to a 30 minute class easy enough. I go to the first class in the morning – something I never thought I would do – then to another class in the evening.”

“I have met new friends who are there always to encourage and help keep each other on track (and have a moan to, when we aren’t so good).”

“Dee has taught me how eating well and exercise go hand-in-hand. I enjoy trying out new recipes and foods I might not have eaten before e.g. Scrambled Eggs & Salmon (from Dee’s 30 Days of Fat Loss Cookbook) and green juices.”

“I haven’t given up too much since joining Million Dollar as I still have a little biscuit or sweet now and again.”

“Now… I just don’t feel the need to eat the whole packet, or those three bars of chocolate.”

“What I would say to someone wanting to make a change would be just go for it, don’t hold yourself back because it is do-able. The first part is always the hardest. The only thing you have to lose it the weight.
